Logan City Council to provide funding for Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre Floor Re-Surfacing

Last week Miriam Stemp Councillor for Division 10 announced that Logan City Council will provide funding to re-surface the indoor playing courts at the Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre (CPSC).

The court re-surfacing is part of a 10-year maintenance schedule for elite indoor sports floors and will make sure the CPSC hardwood floor remains world class as a playing surface for Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Futsal and all indoor sports. The work will cost approximately $160,000.00 and will see access to the courts closed for approximately 6 weeks in late 2022. Logan Basketball will assist regular venue hirers with accommodation at other City of Logan indoor venues during the maintenance closure.

ā€¨Logan Basketball would like to publicly thank Miriam Stemp for Division 10, Mayor Darren Power and Logan City Council for the continued support in managing the CPSC and maintaining a world class community asset for the people of Logan City to engage in sport and recreation.
